FRIENDS ENDOWMENT - MAKE A LASTING CONTRIBUTION

In February 2008, the Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library established The Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library Endowment with the Greater Greenville Foundation. The Greater Greenville Foundation is a community foundation that helps people who care to make lasting contributions to causes that matter. The Foundation offers donors simple ways to achieve their charitable goals and provides support to nonprofit organizations who offer needed and meaningful services to our community.

The purpose of The Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library Endowment is to provide a permanent fund to enhance and improve the services and facilities of the public library system. Money from the Endowment will be used solely for the betterment of public library service in Greenville and Pitt County.

The Endowment is an excellent vehicle for estate planning, memorials, or other lasting tributes. All donations are acknowledged and are tax-deductible.

Individuals can make tax-deductible contributions to The Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library Endowment at any time.

Anyone wishing to make contributions to the Endowment or desiring more information about the fund should contact Willie Nelms, Director of Libraries at 252.329.4585.
